Stopping in San Diego from Brazil before they went to their new home in Northern California was a good idea she thought. When Ralph, her new husband had first proposed the idea of stopping back for their honeymoon, Gwynn had been reticent, as she was anxious to see her two young children after the four years they had been apart. She had felt it would have been better to go directly home, but the short stop trip was proving to be a nice chance to relax after the turmoil of the past few months.

Gwynn Baldwin squinted against the glare of the bright Southern California sun as she removed her dark glasses. Slightly self-consciously she stood up from the deck chair, her tight new bikini barely restraining her lush full body as she walked to the swimming pool and quickly dove into the splashing water. The cool wetness enveloping her body as she submerged, felt good, and she let the momentum of the dive carry her to the bottom of the pool. She stayed submerged, floating in the depths of the pool until she could no longer hold her breath.

Coming to the surface of the blue water so that just her face was exposed to the air, she took in a deep breath and sank down again to fully enjoy the sensation of being suspended in the liquid world.
