Young and sexy Kathy Stiles slammed her history books shut and leaped off of the couch.
“All right, you two boys,” she said sternly, frowning and shoving two tight fists onto her slim hips. She stomped her foot to emphasize her words. “You better stop all this crazy running around, and stop it right this minute! Now, it’s way past your bedtime, and I’m letting you stay up only if you’re going to be quiet.”
Fred and Frank Benson grinned and giggled at each other.
“Okay, Kathy,” Fred said, bending over to hide his wide smile with his palms.
Frank just stood silently, trying hard to keep his laughter from bursting out.
Kathy shook her head, her lips tightly pursed, but she couldn’t remain angry for long. The two boys were just too cute for words. They looked so innocent and yet so guilty, all at the same time.
“Well, just keep it down, will you? Please?” she pleaded, turning back to the couch and picking up one of her history books.
“Kathy?” Frank asked.
“What?”
“Will you play with us?”
