BLOW HARDER, DAUGHTER! is a story of everyday, responsible people whose lives are wrought with common frailties; people who seek pleasure, profit, expediency; people not unlike those who may live in your town or your neighborhood. Respectable citizens-yes, but not without the foibles and weaknesses seen every day in nearly every city.
BLOW HARDER, DAUGHTER! provides a unique insight into those emotions with which we all must live, a look at America at the grassroots level.
Tammy Wilson was lying in bed, wide awake, when she heard the car pull into the driveway outside. Beside her in the queen-size bed, Debbie Miller, Tammy’s cousin, was already fast asleep. Tammy listened to Debbie’s deep, rhythmic breathing and knew the girl was out for the night.
A car door slammed outside. A moment later, Tammy heard the front door of the house being opened. Russ Miller, Debbie’s dad, was home.
Tammy crept out of bed, quiet as a cat. She flipped on the night light and rummaged around in her overnight bag until she found her makeup kit. She applied a little lipstick and mascara, working quickly and quietly before Debbie’s full-length mirror.
When she was finished, Tammy checked herself out in the mirror. The make-up highlighted her pretty features very nicely. Her long, reddish hair was pulled back into a ponytail that fell from a knot high on her head clear to her waist. Her skimpy, pink nightgown hugged her slender body, showing off her developing curves.
