Linda Harrison rose eagerly from her chair when her straining ears finally heard the sound of the front door closing downstairs. Checking an impulse to rush immediately from her room, she forced herself to remain where she was until she heard the sound of her parents’ car starting up and driving away. Then, her heart beating rapidly, she left the room and walked across the hall, where she knocked on a door and opened it.
Her brother Chuck, one year older than she, turned from his desk, swiveling his chair to face her.
“They’re gone,” she said.
“I know.” He grinned at her.
Linda felt a weakness in her legs as her handsome brother gazed at her standing there in the doorway. She knew her eyes were bright with anticipation and her breathing was faster than usual. She began to tremble slightly as Chuck deliberately let his eyes move over her, from her long dark blonde hair to her sandaled feet. She wore a blue blouse, beneath which the shapes of her tautening nipples could be faintly discerned, and a short skirt which displayed most of her shapely young legs. Chuck raised his eyes to her face again, and she swallowed.
