Mary Lynn and Roxanne exchanged frightened looks. This wasn’t the way they’d thought it would be. They wanted to get into the Gamma Delta Iota sorority in the worst way, but the Hell Week initiation had taken some strange turns. Some of the pledges had been forced to strip naked and streak through crowded department stores downtown. Both of the eighteen-year-old girls had been glad that they hadn’t been included.
Their pledge sisters, Morgana and Angela, had seemed nice and easy-going. They didn’t make them do all that much stuff out in public. But this wasn’t public, and the tall sandy-haired Morgana looked like an avenging angel now.
