The seething passions that lurk within many individuals are often hidden beneath a veneer of normalcy, exposed only under extremely trying and tempting conditions.

The woman who, after a few drinks at a party, takes on all comers, male and female alike. The man who, during the strip show at a stag party, climbs up on the stage with the girl and performs with her in front of his friends. The couple who, under group pressure, reluctantly joins the neighborhood wife-swappers.

Susan Johnson is one of these outwardly proper and quite normal people. But within her a love of degradation and a desire to be debased lies coiled like a snake, waiting only for the proper stimulus to arouse it.

THE VIRGIN’S NAUGHTY LESSONS — a fictional story about a society that refuses to face many of its real problems.

Susan Johnson was worried as she drove along the bumpy mountain road. She knew her mother had expected her home hours ago. She had not intended to go off the pavement, but somehow she had made a wrong turn. Now it was getting dark and she was lost. She was thankful to see a small farmhouse at the side of the road.

She stopped her car at the edge of the road and got out. She noticed a young man working at the side of the house. He was tall and dark-haired, and he wore only blue jeans. She tried not to think about how muscular his arms looked.

He watched her closely as she walked across the muddy yard. Susan was used to being stared at by men, although she hadn’t gone out much in her twenty-three years. She’d had lots of opportunities. Men loved shapely blondes and Susan’s lush shape was something out of a man’s dreams. Susan would have been married a long time ago if she hadn’t had her sick mother to care for.

“Excuse me,” Susan called out. “Could you help me? I was looking at the pretty scenery and I got lost. Could you show me where the highway is?”
