Every society is marked by an adolescent stage. A growing-up period. A time when each young member feels he is infinitely more daring and modern than the adults ruling the establishment he often rebels against. Nowhere is this phenomenon more marked than in an open society like ours.

Many an adult has smiled in remembrance of the time in his youth when he snuck out back to enjoy a forbidden cigarette or beer. The time he challenged another boy to a drag race in his father’s car.

This is the story of a young woman growing up in a very special way—breaking the moral code she has been taught. Flaunting her body in an open rebellion. Reveling in any and every wanton new experience.

THE VIRGIN’S NEW JOB—the story of a young woman’s struggle to find happiness. A timely story for today. A story which answers many questions, but leaves many others still open to debate.

A strange excitement, a new kind of excitement had settled over Daisy by the time the slinky receptionist with the red hair smiled at her and told her that Mr. Langley would see her now.

She got up, smoothed the short dress over her thighs and followed the receptionist to the door. The redhead held it open for her and she hurried inside. There, in a large office complete with thick carpet, a corner bar, deep furniture and a million-dollar view of the city and the ocean, Mr. Langley waited for her from behind his desk.

The door closed behind Daisy and she stood before him, her portfolio in her hands, her lips pressed together nervously. She’d heard about Jack Langley and Jaguar Advertising. Both were considered sharp, fast, romantic and filled with surprises. Daisy had heard right.

He came around the desk smiling, his blond hair in perfect order, his blue eyes glistening, his hand out. She took his hand and he immediately made her do a turn in front of him. He took the art portfolio from her, tossing it aside.

“Later,” he said, dismissing her work. “We can look at that stuff later. All right, let’s see your legs.”

Daisy blinked. “But I’m here about the art department job. You don’t understand . . . “
