Divorce. An ever-growing American problem which seems to have no easy solution. The causes for divorce are infinite, the consequences sometimes disastrous for the individuals concerned.
But what must be considered one of the most prevalent causes for the break-up of a marriage is sexual incompatibility, real or imagined.
The story of Betty and Jim Harris is one of a young woman whose upbringing will not allow her to accept the fact that she needs and enjoys sex, and of a man who is driven to other women because of his wife’s lack of sexual response. The result is a mutual desire for divorce.
Betty, however, soon comes to face the truth—that she is, indeed, a warm and sensuous woman, capable of giving as well as receiving love. But is it too late to save her marriage? Has the realization of her true nature, and her subsequent journey into the heretofore forbidden world of sex, turned her into a shameless wanton?
A serious novel which lays open the lives of one couple teetering on the brink of divorce, providing an insight for all concerned.
She was there, again, standing naked in the big picture window. Watching from the smaller window in the house across the driveway, Jim Harris got a big fat hard-on.
He knew for sure now that she was performing for him. She knew he was there, and she was deliberately presenting herself naked to his view. His pulse raced faster at the exciting thought that a beautiful exhibitionist lived right next door to him.
He was alone in the house. His wife Betty would probably be out of town for another few days. Was she alone—that voluptuous nude woman across the drive? She and her husband had moved in just a few days ago. Jim had seen them only briefly on the day they moved in.
Then last night . . .
Betty was taking a long bubble-bath. She would have to get up extra early to catch her plane. She was visiting her sister again. She had been visiting her sister a lot lately—too damn much to suit Jim. Jim turned on the lamp by the bed and the room was bathed in a soft light.
Just the right kind of light for fucking.
He started to crawl right into bed. But he decided to open the window a little wider.
