The arguments between Robert Clay and his wife went on night after night, becoming more involved with each incident. After many years of marriage and a couple of lovely children, Linda had become frigid and hated the thought of sex with her husband. He, on the other hand, needed sexual attention but didn’t know what to do about his frigid wife.

Bob and Linda, like most of us, failed to realize that within our present school systems even very young children sometimes know more about sex than we know, ourselves. They failed, also, to realize that it isn’t uncommon for youngsters to experiment with ideas they’ve learned at school, not to mention the fact that a young girl who hears heated arguments between her parents may possibly experience a desperate urge to fulfill her father’s aching need, especially when her mother has no intention of doing so.

Toni propped onto her elbow and listened intently to the loud and angry voices in the next room, then glanced at the clock on the dresser to notice it was already past twelve o’clock. This wasn’t the first time she’d overheard her parent’s heated arguments about sex, and it probably wouldn’t be the last—hell, their arguments had become a nightly event.

“GODDAMN IT, BOB! TAKE YOUR FUCKIN’ HANDS FROM BETWEEN MY LEGS AND GO TO SLEEP!” her mother demanded loudly, not realizing that her fifteen-year-old daughter was listening to every word she said. “IT’S TOO LATE FOR THAT, AND I’M MUCH TOO TIRED, ANYHOW! NOW CUT IT OUT BEFORE YOU WAKE UP THE CHILDREN! JESUS CHRIST, YOU KEEP NOTHING EXCEPT FUCKING ON YOUR MIND!”

“Perhaps I wouldn’t have it on my mind if I could actually do it once in awhile!—have you thought about that fact?” his slurring voice seemed sarcastic as he stared at her in disgust. “If anyone wakes up the children it’ll be you and that goddamned loud mouth of yours. Perhaps they should be awake, anyhow!—then they’d realize their mother was frigid!”
