Most of us have been brought up to be at least slightly ashamed of anything sexual, and it is frequently reassuring to discover that we are not different, naughty, or even perverted in our sex practices. In discussing sex with others, and just as importantly, admitting their desires to themselves, people find out how truly normal they are, and learn to feel comfortable with themselves and with others.
In MOTHER’S LOVING DOG, we see the sexual development of a mother and a daughter. One is just discovering her sexuality, the other is finally facing up to hers. It is a story which many of us should be able to relate to, a story with an important lesson for us all.
